Car Show For The Troops (11)
Cathy Tarr and all her volunteers put on a fantastic Car Show with over 90 Classic and Muscle Cars, children's games, military vehicles, with all the proceeds going to Able Forces. Fantastic job Cathy!!! -
2nd Annual 101st Airborne Wounded Warrior Turkey Hunt (7)
The 2nd Annual Turkey Hunt for Wounded Warriors of the 101st Airborne was held outside of Nashville on 15-16 April 2011. Twelve warriors joined their guides for another incredible weekend of fun and excitement. Sam Tate and the Tennessee Turkey Association along with major sponsor IGov, and the non-profit Not Alone are to be commended for all their work in ensuring this to be a memorable event for all. -
Christmas Support from Walgreens (7)
Once again Walgreens has provided a remarkable level of support for our Wounded Warriors and family's. Walgreens Gift Cards valued over $2500 were distributed to Wounded Warriors at the Ft. Belvoir Warrior Transition Unit Christmas Party, and the Walter Reed Mologne House. Check out our News page for the Walgreen Managers and volunteers that supported this effort. -
Walgreens Treats For Troops program supports our Wounded Warriors and Veterans (15)
Walgreens and its wonderful customers have been incredible supporters of our Wounded Heroes and veterans. Over the last 2 weeks Walgreens volunteers have traveled to and provided over 3,700 gift bags of candy to our recovering veterans and military personnel at Walter Reed, Ft. Belvoir, Quantico Marine Base, Veterans Affairs Hospital Martinsburg WV, and Camp Lejeune Marine Base. -
U.S. Army 10 Miler - 24 October 2010 (2)
Able Forces was proud to sponsor the Ft. Belvoir Operation Support Airlift Agency (OSAA) runners for the 2010 U.S. Army 10 miler. 16 runners made up 2 team classes. -

Black Cloud Therapeutic Riding for Wounded Warriors (10)
This was the inaugural event for Black Cloud Therapeutic Riding for disabled veterans. A dry-run for WWs and their families included support by Guardian Eagles, Able Forces, and Miracle Valley Vineyard. -
