The Mission of Able Forces Foundation is to assist with Military and Veteran families in immediate financial crisis in the Washington DC Metro area. We work directly with Advocates from Walter Reed, Ft. Belvoir, Quantico, and the local Veteran Service Organizations who refer families in financial crisis. We can immediately assist with electric/water shut off, food cards, limited assistance with temporary housing, and many other immediate needs.

Adopt A Warrior Family For Christmas Program

Able Forces Foundation works closely with Military and Veteran Advocates on Military Bases, VA Hospitals, and non-profit organizations who identify Wounded, Ill, and Injured, military families, and veteran families unable to provide a Christmas for their children because of their financial situation. Able Forces “adopts” the entire family and provides assistance to buy a tree, Christmas Dinner, and financial assistance for gifts for all children. Funds are also provided so that the parents also receive a gift.

Crisis Fund

Able Forces works closely with Military and Veteran Advocates on Military Bases, VA Hospitals, and non-profit organizations who identify Wounded, Ill, and Injured military personnel and families in immediate financial need. Assistance is provided for needs such as food, utilities, transportation, and housing assistance. Support is provided throughout the DC Metro area
